Converters for a PEEK drawing
Most PEEK datasheets are metric and a good share of the drawings are not. These four conversions cover almost every case, with the numbers that matter for this material noted beside each one.
Length
US drawings are in inches, PEEK datasheets are in mm. A ±0.002 in tolerance is ±0.05 mm.
Surface finish
Ra and RMS are not the same number. On a normal machined surface RMS is roughly Ra times 1.11.
Stress
PEEK tensile strength is 90 to 100 MPa. US datasheets often quote psi or ksi.
Temperature
Tg 143 °C is 289 °F. Melting point 343 °C is 649 °F.

Ra to RMS uses the 1.11 ratio that holds for a normal machined surface. It is a convention rather than a law, so on a critical finish agree which parameter and which instrument before the first article.
The two conversions that actually cost money
Thermal expansion and the annealing cycle. Both have their own calculator, because neither is a single multiplication.
