PEEK calculators
Two numbers decide most PEEK parts: how much the material moves when it gets hot, and whether the part needs a stress relief cycle. A third tool weighs the blank. All run in your browser and send nothing to us.
- Calculator
Thermal fit and expansion
Enter a dimension, an install temperature and a service temperature. See how much the PEEK part and its metal mate each move, what happens to the clearance, and what to machine at 20 °C so the fit is right when hot. Handles the jump in expansion above the glass transition.
- Calculator
Annealing cycle
Enter a wall thickness. Get a typical ramp, soak and cool schedule, the total oven hours it adds to a quote, and a note you can paste into an RFQ so the shop prices the step instead of discovering it.
- Calculator
Weight of a rod, plate or tube
Enter the blank dimensions and the grade. Get the volume and the mass as a range from the density band, the total for a quantity, and the share of the blank removed when you add the finished part mass.
- Converters
mm, inch, Ra, RMS, MPa, psi, °C, °F
The four conversions a PEEK drawing needs, with the values that matter for this material noted beside each one.
The fit and annealing tools use the coefficients, and the weight tool the densities, published on our property data page, which come from manufacturer datasheets. They are for shortlisting and sanity checking, not a substitute for the datasheet of the grade and lot you buy. See editorial standards.
